Overstone Hall
A Historic Landmark, Revived for the Future
Restoring Northampton's iconic Grade II listed Overstone Hall with community support and expert craftsmanship
Overstone Hall, a magnificent Grade II listed building on the outskirts of Northampton, once stood proudly with 119 rooms surrounded by 35 acres of parkland. Tragically, a catastrophic fire in 2001 destroyed half of the Hall, leaving the remaining structure vulnerable to vandalism and weather damage over the years. In 2015, Fairline Homes stepped in with a commitment to restore this historic landmark to its former glory.
Working alongside Daventry District Council, the OH Action Group, The Residents Association, and Overstone Parish Council, we are drawing up detailed plans to breathe new life into the Hall. Supported by a dedicated team of Structural Engineers, Architects, Quantity Surveyors, Environmental, Highways, and Planning Consultants, we are piecing together a vision that respects its history while securing its future.
With strong community support and expert planning, Fairline Homes is determined to transform Overstone Hall into a timeless residence that honours its legacy and safeguards its beauty for generations to come. Information on our progress and restoration plans will be shared through various channels in the coming months, as we work hand-in-hand with the local community to restore this cherished landmark.
